In the Event of an Emergency

In the event of an emergency, members of the Harvard Kennedy School community who are subscribed to MessageMe will be notified by e-mail, voicemail and/or text message.

MessageMe is Harvard University’s Emergency Notification system for faculty, staff and students. All members of the HKS community are strongly encouraged to subscribe to MessageMe. Click here to subscribe and begin receiving notifications immediately.

Time sensitive information will be posted on this page, and on the Harvard Kennedy School homepage. Harvard Kennedy School faculty, staff and students can access additional information on the KNet emergency information page. The HKS urgent information telephone line (617 495-1033) will also be updated during the course of an emergency.

Reporting an Emergency

Call 911 for any situation that requires immediate police, fire or medical response to preserve life or property.
